Andrew hails from Western Australia and found himself in Port Lincoln in 2002 seeking a sea-change. Andrew started on "Calypso Star" as deckhand and worked up to company manager.
Andrew has hundreds of cage dives to his name and loves welcoming guests aboard for a face to face encounter with the majestic Great White Shark!

In 2008, Andrew received a Tourism Award Commendation in the SA Great Regional Awards.

 

John has always had a passion for the water! He worked in the fishing industry for over 14 years and has vast experience on the water, skippering and engineering.


John looks forward to meeting you all onboard the luxurious Calypso Star!

 

Simon works primarily in the Prawn Fishing Industry which is a seasonal, allowing him to be involved in other fisheries during the "Off Season".


He has been a part of the Calypso Star Charters team since 2006 and gets a kick out of showing people these amazing creatures.

James was born and raised in Port Lincoln has worked in the prawn, tuna, shark, sand and blue swimmer crab industries for over 10 years.
James has a great love and passion for boats and the sea and after a short processing stint found himself with Calypso Star Charters and the Great White Sharks.

 

Harry is an Eyre Peninsula local and, as a keen surfer, he is at home in the waves of the Southern Ocean.


Harry has developed a deep respect for the Great White Shark and whilst working on the 'MV Calypso Star' Harry is confronting surfers and divers greatest fear.

 

Dan grew up on the Eyre Peninsula. Has spent a number of years as a commercial diver on the Tuna farms.


Dan brings his vast experience
in Sport fishing as a guide on vessels around the world.

Lana moved to Port Lincoln from Kangaroo Island where she worked for National Parks. Lana has always had a love of the ocean and the outdoors;
the unprecedented encounter of interacting face-to-face with the world's greatest predator is an experience that she simply loves sharing.

 

Lea was born and raised in Port Lincoln, and has always loved and been proud to call it her home. She is well known in the community, and her local knowledge will make her very helpful onboard.
Lea has overcome her life-long fear of sharks and looks forward to sharing the same experience with you!

 
Dani has had a lifelong passion for animal conservation and welfare. She graduated from university after 3 years study with a Bachelor of Animal Science. And is extremely excited to see the magnificent Great White Sharks up close and share the experience with you!
